One admission in advance: We didn’t have to invent the original formula for Wildkraut. It can be found in a centuries-old book on herbal medicine from the Alps. Back then, the “root sniff” was known as a traditional remedy for fatigue and was said to help revive the senses after hard physical work. The book was written by the Walsers.
It’s no coincidence that the Walsers created this mixture of alpine herbs with an invigorating effect. Life in the remote high valleys of the Alps demanded endurance and ingenuity — everything they needed came from the land itself. Their knowledge of alpine herbs and mountain rituals was passed down through generations, a tradition rooted in nature and persistence.
When we rediscovered this old almanac, curiosity took over. We gathered herbs, dried them, and began refining the recipe. After a long process, Wildkraut was reborn — a modern interpretation of an ancient alpine tradition.
